The Ministry of Agriculture Training Institute Maruku – Bukoba is an academic institute recognized by The National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) formerly The National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) under the laws in Tanzania – Education Act of 1997. (Act No. 9 of 1997).

The College is registered in Tanzania, United Republic Of. with Provisional Registration. The registration number for Ministry of Agriculture Training Institute Maruku – Bukoba is REG/SAT/038P. Ministry of Agriculture Training Institute Maruku – Bukoba is located in Bukoba District Council, Tanzania.

TEACHING FACILITIES:
The Institute has facilities that enhance its capacity to offer the various training programmes

TEACHING STAFF:
The Institute has well-trained staff who have specialized in different areas such as Food science, Home management, Horticulture, Agriculture, Livestock, Agronomy Agriculture Extension, Farm management and Farm mechanization.

COLLABORATIONS:
The institute maintains formal links with Tanzania Agriculture Research Institute-TARI Maruku and Tanzania Coffee Research Institute-TaCRI who are next door neighbors. These and other commercial private farms around provide ideal practical sites to visit by our students to complement their theoretical knowledge.

LIBRARY SERVICES:
The Institute has a spacious and well stocked library with up to date books, journals and other publication to cater for different disciplines offered.
